The classic Mary Jane style is a new customer favorite. While the buckle keeps the shoe securely fastened on, there is a small amount of elastic in the closure for a comfy fit that moves with your child's foot.   Note that in our "Elf" testing over time we came to love the Velcro closure more than the buckle for ease of day-to-day use... but no one can argue with the cuteness of a buckle.  Our buckle is a silver nickle-plated color.

Also, we can make the stitching a contrasting color if you desire. Our thread colors are black, light brown, red, light blue and white. Let us know in the comment section when you check out if you want to specify thread color.

Motif Options

All Sizes have Sof-Touch^TM soling-- a soft protective rubber sole.  Soles for sizes 4-7 are low profile, to ease the transition from a moccasin style to a soled shoe.  Soles for sizes 8-13 are slightly thicker to support the heavier weight of growing children.   Sof-Touch^TM feather-light soles mold to your child's foot while providing the protection of a sturdy, non-slip shoe.
